What is Dekton?
Can I put hot pans on it?
es. Dekton is heat-resistant and can take hot cookware from the hob or oven.
Does Dekton scratch or chip?
Dekton offers excellent resistance to scratches, stains and UV exposure. However, like all stone and ultracompact surfaces, it can be susceptible to chipping if subjected to heavy impact, particularly along exposed edges and corners.
Does it need sealing?
Dekton combines the beauty of natural stone with advanced durability. Compared to granite, it does not require sealing and offers excellent stain resistance. Compared to marble, it is more resistant to scratching, staining and etching. Compared to Corian, Dekton provides superior heat resistance and scratch resistance, making it a popular choice for high-use kitchens.
