25-Year Material Warranty Guarantee
The warranty becomes effective on the date the installer notifies us that the installation of the product is complete, provided all payments for the supply and installation have been made. Customers should retain their original invoice as proof of purchase, as warranty coverage requires it. If the original invoice cannot be provided, the warranty will not be honoured.
This warranty can be transferred within the twenty-five (25) year warranty period to a new owner if the new owner provides (i) reasonable evidence of ownership and (ii) a letter or chain of letters from the original and any subsequent purchasers transferring the warranty. We can supply a suggested specimen letter for this purpose.
The warranty applies only to products supplied and installed by or on behalf of Mo's StoneX in England. Products not installed by Mo's StoneX or our authorised installers are not covered.
This warranty is in addition to the customer's statutory rights regarding faulty or misdescribed goods. For detailed advice on legal rights, visit the Citizens Advice website at www.adviceguide.org.uk or call 03454 04 05 06.
What the Material Warranty Covers
This warranty covers material faults in Mo's StoneX worktops supplied to the customer. If there is a valid claim, Mo's StoneX will, at its discretion, repair or replace any defective section of the product under the conditions of this warranty.
When replacing a product, we will make reasonable efforts to match the original colour and thickness. However, an exact match cannot be guaranteed. If the original colour has been discontinued, the closest available match will be used. Adjoining sections will also be replaced if a reasonable match cannot be achieved.
The warranty covers Mo's StoneX kitchen work surfaces permanently installed in the customer’s home for domestic use only and is subject to the strict observance of the Care and Maintenance Guidelines provided.
To make a valid warranty claim, the customer must report the defect as soon as reasonably possible after it becomes apparent.
This warranty applies to any products we repair or replace for the remainder of the original 25-year warranty period.
What the Material Warranty Does Not Cover
- Non-Residential Use: Products used for commercial purposes or any domestic use other than as a residential worktop.
- Minor Defects: Blemishes not reasonably evident when viewed from more than 1 meter away.
- Non-Worktop Items: Items such as taps and sinks. While these may have separate manufacturer warranties, we will pass on the benefits of such warranties where possible.
- Third-Party Fabrication Issues: Any fault, defect, or damage arising from fabrication, installation, fitting, modification, or manipulation by Mo's StoneX or any third party. This includes:
- Cracks from the movement of the supporting units.
- Defects from sink cutouts, polished edges, and other fabrication processes.
- Issues with joins or fixings (note: such defects may be covered by a separate five-year workmanship warranty if we performed the installation).
- Improper Treatment: Damage resulting from thermal impact, chemical treatments not recommended in the Care and Maintenance Guidelines, or aggressive/improper treatment, including:
- Cracks from direct heat application, excessive weight, or impact.
- Chips from scraping, bumping, or impact.
- Discolouration from exposure to heat or direct sunlight for prolonged periods.
- Wear and Tear: Faults or defects arising from fair wear and tear or neglect.
- Improper Use: Faults, defects, or damage resulting from improper use, including using the product in unintended ways.
- Customer-Supplied Specifications: Faults or defects arising from following any drawing, design, specification, or instructions provided by the customer.
Additional Notes
- Due to the composition of quartz materials, small clusters of dark spots may create a patchy appearance.
- All worktops refract light, and quartz may appear dull or shadowy under certain conditions, which is inherent to the material.
- Some products contain mirror chips, which are distributed randomly and may not always face the surface. Occasionally, a mirror chip may be dislodged during manufacturing, and we will use resin filler to repair and smooth the surface. None of these factors are considered defects and are not covered by the warranty.

5-Year Installation Guarantee
This warranty takes effect on the date the installer notifies us of the completed installation of the Product, provided that all payments for the supply and installation have been settled.
We require customers to retain their original invoice as proof of purchase. Warranty coverage will not be provided if the customer cannot furnish their original invoice or other valid proof of purchase.
This warranty is transferable within the five (5) year warranty period to subsequent owners, provided the new owner can provide (i) reasonable evidence of ownership and (ii) a letter or chain of letters from the original purchaser and any subsequent purchasers transferring the warranty benefits. We can provide a suggested specimen letter for this purpose.
This warranty applies exclusively to products supplied and installed by or on behalf of Mo's StoneX in England, Scotland, or Wales. Products not installed by Mo's StoneX or its authorised installers are not covered under this warranty.
This warranty supplements and does not replace the customer’s statutory rights regarding faulty or misrepresented goods. For detailed advice on your legal rights, please consult the Citizens Advice website at www.advice-guide.org.uk or call 03454 04 05 06.
What the Warranty Covers
This warranty covers defects in workmanship during the fabrication and installation processes performed by or on behalf of Mo's StoneX. This includes:
- Cutting the Product to the correct size and shape.
- Cutting out sinks and taps.
- Applying polished edges.
The warranty also covers defects in the installation of the Product, which includes:
- Fixing the Product to base units.
- Joining sections of the Product.
- Fixing the Product to wall surfaces as included in the design (e.g., up-stands and splash-backs).
If a customer has a valid warranty claim, Mo's StoneX will, at its discretion, either repair or replace any damaged or defective sections of the Product due to a breach of this warranty. We will also re-perform any defective installation or fabrication work.
When replacing the Product, we will make reasonable efforts to match the original colour and thickness. However, an exact match cannot be guaranteed. If a colour has been discontinued, the closest available match at the time will be substituted.
Adjoining sections of the worktop will also be replaced if a reasonable match for colour and thickness cannot be achieved with the defective sections.
The warranty applies to Mo's StoneX kitchen work surfaces permanently installed in a customer’s home for domestic use only.
This warranty requires that the customer initiates a claim as soon as reasonably possible after discovering a defect in the material.
For any services re-performed under this warranty, the coverage extends for the remaining duration of the initial 5-year warranty period. If Mo's StoneX repairs or replaces any worktops under this warranty, the terms of Mo's StoneX Twenty-Five Year Material Warranty apply to such replacements for the remaining period of the 25-year warranty.
What the Warranty Does Not Cover
Mo's StoneX workmanship warranty does not cover:
- Any defects in the materials comprising the Mo's StoneX worktops (note: such defects may be covered by the Mo's StoneX Twenty-Five Year Material Warranty).
- Installation issues or defects in items other than the worktop itself, such as taps or sinks. Mo's StoneX will endeavour to pass on the benefits of any separate manufacturer warranties for such items.
- Faults or defects in the Product due to fair wear and tear, neglect, or abuse.
- Issues arising from movement or failure of the base units on which the Product is installed. For example, join failure due to base unit movement is not considered defective workmanship.
- Damage or defects resulting from improper use of the Product, including unintended uses.
- Faults or defects arising from work carried out by anyone other than Mo's StoneX or an installer working on our behalf, or any issues from attempted repairs by unauthorised persons.
- Issues resulting from following any drawing, design, specification, or instructions provided by the customer.
