Carrara is a natural white marble with fine, soft grey veining. The listed slab specification is 2950 × 1900 mm, 20 mm thick, with a honed finish. Ask us to review your kitchen worktop, island or vanity layout against the available slabs.
Carrara marble has a white to soft grey background with fine grey veining spread across the stone. It is quieter than the bolder Calacatta marbles, which makes it easy to pair with most cabinet colours. The honed finish has a softer, lower-sheen appearance.
For a Carrara marble kitchen worktop, view the slab with your cabinet doors, handles and flooring. The balance of white and grey varies across individual slabs and under different lighting, so we recommend seeing a sample at home.
Choosing between our white marbles. Carrara has fine, soft grey veining across the stone. Calacatta Monet has an ivory background with flowing grey movement, and Calacatta Caldia has a pale background with soft grey veining. If you want the classic, understated white marble look, start with Carrara.
Natural Carrara marble is different from our ELORĀ Bianco Carrara, which is an engineered stone with a marble-inspired design. If you are comparing the two, ask us about appearance, care and price side by side.
Carrara Marble on this page is a natural marble from our Terra collection. ELORĀ Bianco Carrara is an engineered stone with a soft white base and smoky grey veining. View ELORĀ Bianco Carrara

Marble is an iconic natural stone formed deep within the earth as limestone undergoes immense heat and pressure over time. Celebrated for its graceful veining, soft luminosity, and timeless appeal, every slab is entirely unique, bringing an unmistakable sense of luxury and artistry to a space. Favoured in some of the world’s most elegant interiors, marble offers enduring sophistication when cared for with regular sealing and gentle, pH-neutral cleaning products.

Marble can etch on contact with acidic substances such as lemon juice or vinegar, and it may stain. Use chopping boards and trivets, wipe up spills promptly and clean with a suitable natural-stone cleaner. Sealing improves stain resistance but does not prevent etching. Ask for care guidance for your chosen slab and finish.
Reference images show the character of the stone, not the exact slab supplied. Colour, veining and natural features vary. We confirm the material and proposed layout with you before fabrication.
Start by sending your postcode and plans or approximate measurements. We will discuss the stone, the project scope and the details needed for a quotation. Slab selection, templating, the cutting layout and installation are confirmed as the project progresses. Timing depends on material availability and the work required.

Excellent service. Had to install a new hob which didn't quite fit in the existing granite worktop so Karen came and cut the granite so the hob fitted. They were excellent and would recommend.

Kareem + Mohammed have installed the worktop and splashback. They have done an amazing job with great attention to detail. I would highly recommend mostonex to all looking for high quality worktops and finish.

Highly recommend. I had my kitchen and utility measured and fitted by Mo’s Stonex. The high Wycombe warehouse has most of the slabs on show, it helped us decide which one to choose by seeing the whole slab. They measured the template on Monday and fitted on Friday. They try to measure and fit everyone within 5 days. My hob hole was 5mm too small, they are returning to widen the hole this week. Amazing experience. High recommended.
